Worship in song and word is very important here at Waushara Community Church. We want to praise and worship him with everything we have. We love the arts and demonstrate this through the different ways we worship God. We have bands that lead most Sunday mornings. We have special music that we like to integrate quarterly, and we have a choir that will sing mostly at the holiday’s.
Join Us Regularly
Being a part of the local body of Christ is a really important aspect of the Christian faith walk. Before you can join the Worship & Arts Team we ask that you make a commitment to being a regular part of our church body - we would recommend and love it if you took the Foundations Class and perhaps even the Membership Class. We are always looking for talented individuals who love the Lord and want to lead people in Praise and Worship. There are many different areas to get involved in.
Skills We Need
The most common way to participate on the Worship Team is on Sunday mornings. There are many jobs that are vitally important on Sunday’s that lead people in worshipping God freely and confidently. You can sing, play an instrument, run sound, run slides, be a greeter, work at the welcome desk, help plan decorations, or help with the building of sets. We are constantly looking for talented vocalist, instrumentalist, sound techs, and people who can help run the slides for Sunday services. If you feel called to lead in one of those areas, please contact Aaron to see how to get involved.
Team Handbook
Although you are not required to make extensively long commitments we do ask that you commit to each year as it comes.
